Abstract
This presentation will focus on the Thai and Lao governments' policy responses toward the phenomenon about Laotians crossing the national border to receive medical treatments in Thailand. It will draw on the securitization theory to examine and discuss public opinions among healthcare authorities of both sides towards this type of cross-border mobility.
