งานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติของสมาคมนักประชากรแห่งเอเชีย (APA) ครั้งที่ 5 จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 3-5 สิงหาคม 2564 ในรูปแบบเสมือนจริงเป็นครั้งแรก โดย National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) และ Center for Population and Policy Studies (CPPS), Universitas Gadjah Mada และสมาคมฯ เป็นเจ้าภาพร่วม งานประชุมครั้งนี้มีนักวิชาการ นักวิจัย ผู้กำหนดนโยบาย และเจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ นำเสนอประเด็นสำคัญด้านประชากรศาสตร์ในเอเชีย ในสองรูปแบบคือ live session และ pre-recorded or poster session โปรแกรมงานประชุมจะมีการนำเสนอและการเสวนาแบบ live session จำนวนเกือบ 200 บทความ พร้อมการนำเสนอแบบบันทึกไว้ล่วงหน้าและโปสเตอร์จำนวนมาก ผ่านทางเว็บไซต์สมาคมฯ ทั้งนี้ ในพิธีเปิดได้รับเกียรติจาก Prof. Aris Ananta (President of APA), Prof. Annette Sachs Robertson (Deputy Regional Director of the UNFPA APRO), Prof. Panut Mulyono (Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada), and Prof. Hasto Wardoyo (Chairman of BKKBN) กล่าวเปิดงาน
โดยมี ผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมกว่า 400 ท่าน ประกอบด้วย นักวิชาการ นักวิจัย ผู้กำหนดนโยบาย และเจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ จากทั่วโลก นำเสนอประเด็นสำคัญด้านประชากรศาสตร์ในเอเชีย ในสองรูปแบบคือ live session และ pre-recorded or poster session โปรแกรมงานประชุมมีการนำเสนอและการเสวนาแบบ live session จำนวนเกือบ 200 บทความ พร้อมการนำเสนอแบบบันทึกไว้ล่วงหน้าและโปสเตอร์จำนวนมากผ่านทางเว็บไซต์สมาคมฯ ซึ่งคณาจารย์และนักวิจัยของสถาบันฯ เข้าร่วมนำเสนอผลงานจำนวน 10 ท่าน รายละเอียดการนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการ ระหว่างวันที่ 3-5 สิงหาคม 2564 มีดังนี้
