Abstract
IPSR students; Ms.Wanida Sukkun, Ms.Jirawan Phuaphae, Ms.Nongnuch Jindarattanaporn, and Mr. Kailash Timilsina attended "SAKURA Exchange Program in Science: Collaborative Research and Education on Global Health" during 4th – 13th March, 2019. This programme was based on the collaboration with consortium for global health research and education to share opportunities for learning innovative and technology for ageing society and scopes of ageing for young researchers among five universities. The exchange program was held at Department of Health Care Policy, The exchange program was held at Department of Health Care Policy, Graduate School of Medicine, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. We would like to share the knowledge and experiences from this exchange program. A mini-symposium is a part of the exchange program which title is innovation and technology for ageing society. The following topics from five countries; 1) Japan: how national policy responses to ageing society in Japan, 2) South Korea:AI policy and gerontechnology, 3) Sri Lanka: telehealth for elderly., 4) Philippines: healthy ageing and social media , and 5) Thailand: Improving quality of life of Thai elderly through the creative innovations, technology, and internet. Last but not least, we would love to present about Japanese culture, technology and robots that Japan has developed to assist the elderly in their country.
