Kazakhstan became the first country in the world where digital nomads were reflected in the Migration Policy Concept. The country pursues a friendly migration policy towards digital nomads, considering them a resource for the development of the national economy. In 2022, a significant number of digital nomads arrived from the Russian Federation, contributing to the development of Kazakhstan. Most of them are young people, specialists in the field of digital technologies, who work remotely for Russian and foreign companies.
