ABSTRACT
The 2nd International Conference on Curriculum Development on Gender and Development in ASEAN universities held from 4-5 June in Seoul, S. Korea aims at sharing the experiences among the prominent gender scholars from ASEAN countries and to translate their experiences into classroom teaching. The curriculum development for post graduate programmes is one of the discussions. Moreover, the conference themes cover the discussion on the possible ways to support gender and development research in ASEAN universities under the ASEAN-Republic of Korea Cooperation Fund. The thematic papers presented at the conference include; women and economic status, violence, education and research in universities and women’s leadership organizations.
