Congratulations to Dr. Peter J. Donaldson in recognition for receiving an Honorary Doctorate in Demography from Mahidol University in 2010. Dr. Donaldson is the current President of the Population Council. He received a Ph.D. in Sociology from Brown University. He was the first foreign demographer in Thailand affiliated with Mahidol Universities Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR) in 1971-1973, and played a significant role in the development of population and social research in Thailand.
