Training course on “Qualitative Data Analysis”

On April 24, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Aree Jampaklay, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research Mahidol University, opened a short training course for the year 2023 on “Qualitative Data Analysis” that took place from April 24-27, 2023, in a hybrid format. Assistant Professor Dr. Pimonpan Isarabhakdi, the main training manager, and Associate Professor Dr. Kanchana Tangchonlatip, the co-organizer, gave lectures to educate 22 trainees, including teachers, doctors, professional nurses, inspectors of technology standards inspection and control group, social workers, public health academicians, and doctoral students from various universities and organizations, such as Chiang Mai University, Nakhon Phanom University, Vongchavalitkul University, Prince of Songkhla University, Chiang Rai Prachanukroh Hospital, Phayao Hospital, Lamphun Hospital, Chiang Rai College, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Yala, Phrachomklao Phetchaburi College of Nursing, Regional Health Promotion Center 5 Ratchaburi, Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing, Office of Information and Communication Technology, and the Royal Thai Police. The objective of the training was to enable participants to use qualitative research methods, understand the principles of qualitative data analysis, and analyze the data accurately and reliably. The training took place at the Rachawadee Room (326), 3rd floor of the institute and online through the Zoom program.
