The Sapporo Learned and Fun

The Sapporo Learned and Fun

Abstract

As the participants in “Collaborative Research and Education on Global Health” program under The Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science (Sakura Exchange program) at Hokkaido University, we had an opportunity to learn concepts and scope of research for global health and epidemiology together with participants from Sri Lanka, South Korea and the Phillipines.
In this seminar, we would like to share our experiences both academic and non-academic during our 2 weeks’ time at the Hokkaido University (Sapporo campus), Japan in the winter (Snow Storm). For academic experiences, we would like to share research ideas we got from group work and what we have learned from this workshop.
For non- academic experiences, we would like to share “Top must-see places when you are there (on budget & not)”, “How to find your dormitory when you got lost”, “The most delicious food and restaurants in Sapporo (in our opinion)”, and other social experiences in Sapporo, Japan during 2 weeks.
