How Thai children eat healthily and become aware of the marketing of sweet, fatty, and salty foods

On June 20, 2024, at the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Nongnuch Jindarattanaporn from the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, attended a workshop. The workshop focused on the creation of knowledge and cooperation to support the drive for legal measures to protect children from food and beverage marketing that affects their health. The topic was “How Thai Children Can Eat Healthily and Understand the Marketing of Sweet, Oily, and Salty Foods.” Dr. Nongnuch presented research results on the impact of food marketing on Thai children aged 6-18 years.
