Training researchers on the health and employment of female migrant workers after the COVID-19 pandemic: Intersectional perspectives and comparative studies in Malaysia and Thailand.

On May 23, 2024, the project “WOMEN MIGRANTS’ HEALTH AND WORK AFTER COVID-19: AN INTERSECTIONAL AND COMPARATIVE STUDY IN MALAYSIA AND THAILAND” was funded by the PRORIGHTS FOUNDATION. The project is led by Dr. Sriprapha Petcharamesree, Vice President of the Foundation, and Ms. Sansanee Sutthisansanee, who organized a training session for project researchers.

The training included participation from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kritaya Archavanitkul and Ms. Kulapa Vajanasara from the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University. They were invited as speakers to exchange knowledge on the issue of Gender and International Migration with the project research team. The team included Dr. Sarunya Sujaritpong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teeranong Sakulsri, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suchada Thaweesit, Ms. Kanya Apipornchaisakul, Mr. Phongsak Muensakda, Ms. Benjamas Rodphai, along with students and staff of the Foundation. The event was held at Sarabua Room (109), 1st floor, IPSR.
