On Thursday, November 16, 2023, the Thailand Physical Activity Knowledge Development Center (TPAK) at Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, received a plaque of appreciation for their role in developing scoring criteria and analyzing scores for a royal trophy presented to 13 health districts across the country. The ceremony, held at Siriraj Hospital, aimed to honor Their Majesties the King and Queen and raise awareness about stroke prevention. The TPAK team, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyawat Katewongsa, played a crucial role in this project to promote preventive activities and reduce the burden of chronic diseases nationwide.
