On October 17, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aree Jampaklay, Director of the Population and Social Research Institute at Mahidol University, participated in an academic seminar with the theme “Demography of Sustainable Wellbeing.” This seminar was organized by Prof. Dr. Vipan Prachuabmoh, Dean of the College of Population Studies at Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with Prof. Wolfgang Lutz from the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Austria (IIASA). The event took place at the Visid Prachuabmoh Building, 1st floor, College of Population Studies at Chulalongkorn University.
The seminar aimed to facilitate the exchange of information, knowledge, and experiences, and foster future academic cooperation among population research organizations and demographers from Southeast Asian countries, including Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
