Developing potential and skills in promoting a happy university: Thaksin University

Asst. Prof. Noppadon Sukrakanchana, Vice President for Administration and University Council Affairs at Thaksin University, welcomed and inaugurated the workshop titled ‘Developing Potential and Skills in Promoting a Happy University: Thaksin University.’ The workshop focused on advancing knowledge management to foster workplace happiness through the ‘Advanced Routine to Happiness (AR2H)’ course, held between August 24 and 25, 2023, at the Prakaikarn Room on the 2nd floor of Crystal Hotel Hat Yai in Songkhla Province. The event was organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirinan Kittisuksathit, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nucharapon Liangruenrom, Associate Professor Dr. Charamporn Holumyong, and the team from the Academic Center of the University of Happiness, Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University. The workshop was supported by the Office of Organizational Health, Thai Health Promotion Foundation.

The development of potential and knowledge skills to enhance happiness creators at Thaksin University is part of the ‘Model University of Happiness Network,’ which is distinguished by its commitment to promoting a ‘Happy University’ as an indicator to support educational quality criteria for performance excellence (Education Criteria for Performance Excellence: EdPEx) in the university’s development plan.
