On July 27, 2023, the Thailand Working Person Happiness Research Center, Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University was honored to participate in an exhibition booth at the award ceremony for the Model Enterprise Project SHAP of the Year 2022. This project aims to promote productivity and organizational health in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through the concept of a Happy and Productive Workplace: SHAP. The event took place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Grand Ballroom, 4th floor of the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel in Laksi, Bangkok.
During this significant occasion, the Center was graced by the presence of Mr. Rak Charoensiri, Director, Service Provider Development Division, Bureau of Industrial Management Development Department of Industrial Promotion. Mr. Wuthichai Prachaphon, Director of the Industrial Business Capability Development Division, warmly welcomed and extended gratitude. Additionally, Mr. Pongsak Thongratana, Director of the Office of Organizational Health Support (Bureau 8), conveyed congratulations and offered insightful remarks. Mr. Bainoi Suwanchatri, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Promotion under the Ministry of Industry, presented award plaques and certificates. A total of 57 prototype organizations received plaques, and certificates were distributed for working-age health centers in 13 enterprises.
For this event, we had the privilege of introducing attendees to the University of Happiness and the Thailand Workers’ Happiness Research Center. We also provided a happiness self-assessment form known as the “HAPPINOMETER” for visitors to experience. Moreover, a variety of souvenirs were distributed to those who engaged in the activities at our booth. Our exhibition booth garnered considerable attention, as is customary. We extend our gratitude to all visitors who honored us with their presence during this occasion.
