On July 4, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., a warm welcome was extended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aree Jampaklay, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suchada Thaweesit, Deputy Director of Research, Finance, and Procurement, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sudarat Musikawong, Deputy Director of International Affairs Networking and Academic Services, as well as Asst. Prof. Dr. Marc Voelker. They welcomed a delegation from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, representing the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN). The delegation was led by Professor Andreas Neef, Assoc. Dean Research Faculty of Arts Administration at the University of Auckland, and consisted of 10 delegates. The purpose of the visit was to explore potential collaborations in areas such as climate change-related migration, sustainable tourism, and shared social responsibility in agriculture and fisheries. The meeting also aimed to discuss possible cooperation with the Mahidol Migration Study Center. The meeting took place at the Tantawan Room (403), located on the 4th floor of the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University.
