The 4th training for developing the potential of partners of the food plan for health of the Thai Health Promotion Area, Ubon Ratchathani Province

Between 21-23 June 2023, the “Survey on food consumption, food security and food literacy in Thai population” project was conducted by the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University. The project was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirinya Phulkerd, the head of the project, along with Acting Second Lieutenant Niphon Darawuttimaprakorn and the research team. They organized a training session aimed at developing the potential of associates of the food plan for health in the 4th area of the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The training took place at the Sunee Grand Hotel.

The main objective of this training was to educate partners on the use of food consumption assessment tools. Additionally, it focused on enhancing food security and food knowledge and practice data collection skills using these tools, including preliminary data analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results.
