Workshop on Preparing the Field Process for the Social Reward Analysis Project on Promoting Physical Activity in the Community for the Elderly

On April 1-2, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a team of researchers from the Thailand Physical Activity Knowledge Development Center (TPAK) organized a workshop to prepare the fieldwork process for the social return analysis project on promoting physical activity in the community for the elderly. The project, which received funding from the Office of the Science Promotion Board for the fiscal year 2023, aims to develop innovations for promoting physical activities for the elderly in the community. The participants discussed work guidelines, surveys, and data recording, and collected data on the physical activity situation of the elderly population to prepare for the project’s fieldwork process. The workshop, held at the Mana Manee co-working space, Sra Bua Meeting Room (109), 1st floor, Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, was part of “The Analysis of Social Rewards from Promoting Physical Activity in the Community for the Elderly” project, which aims to apply survey data for planning, policy formulation, and the development of a model community mechanism for promoting physical activity among the elderly in the community. It also aims to promote physical activity for the Thai population in the future.
