On July 10, 2024, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m., Prof. Dr. Churnrurtai Kanchanachitra, Advisor to the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, was invited as a speaker at the international academic conference in medicine and public health (SICMPH 2024). The theme of the conference was “Healthcare Sustainability: Complete in all Disciplines, Complete in all Professions.” The objectives were to (1) increase understanding of the essence of PMAC and the importance of PMAC to Thailand’s position in the global health arena, including pushing for various issues at the global level; (2) brainstorm ideas on the future direction of PMAC and position Thailand so that it continues to receive attention on global health issues from many countries; and (3) increase interest in PMAC among youth and other people interested in global health in Thailand. The event was held at the Sirindhorn Building, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.
