Monday, May 20, 2024, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Aphichat Chamratrithirong, Advisor to the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, was a guest speaker in the discussion on “Immigration Law Reform to Meet Thailand’s Needs in the Context of an Aging Society: Proposals from Various Sectors on Immigration Law Amendments and Solving the Problem of Population Shortage,” organized by the Law Commission on Justice and Human Rights, House of Representatives, at the Parliament Building, Dusit District, Bangkok. Asst. Prof. Dr. Sakkarin Niyomsilpa and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of IPSR, also joined the discussion.
