On April 19, 2024, the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sutthida Chuanwan, Deputy Director for General Administration, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teeranong Sakulsri, attended an audience to welcome Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The ceremony proceeded with the raising and enshrining of the royal symbol above the Phra Phuttha Maha Siri Peeriyapat Hall and the official opening of the hall. Clinical Prof. Emeritus Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, Chairman of Mahidol University Council, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, President of Mahidol University, and other Mahidol University executives were present to greet Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, Salaya.
