Presenting the results of a project on social participation of people with disabilities in Thailand through volunteer work.

On April 19, 2024, the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Ratchasuda College, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, received support from the National Research Council for the year 2023 to organize a meeting to present the study results of the project titled ‘Social Participation of Disabled People in Thailand through Volunteer Work.’ The meeting was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Population and Social Research Institute, Mahidol University, who delivered the opening speech.

Lect. Dr. Wiraman Niyompol from the Ratchasuda College, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, discussed the project’s history, while Dr. Nara Khamkhom, as the project leader, presented the findings and summarized the results, concluding the meeting. Asst.Prof. Dr. Paranee Visuttipun, also from the Rajasuda Institute, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, listened to opinions from meeting participants both at Sra Bua Room (109), IPSR, and online via Zoom Meeting.
