On April 11, 2024, Prof. Emeritus Dr.Pramote Prasartkul, Senior Advisor to the Population and Social Research Institute at Mahidol University, and Chairman of the Population and Social Research Development Foundation, provided funding to support thesis work for the academic year 2022. This funding was awarded to Mr. Thirawat Wannapruek, a graduate of the Master of Arts in Population and Social Research (Thai Program) at Mahidol University. The thesis, titled “Adjusting to being a platform worker in the service sector: A case study of Bangkok and surrounding areas,” is supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sureeporn Punpuing.
