TPAK attended the meeting to listen to opinions regarding the Calories Credit Challenge: CCC application

On March 26, 2024, the Thailand Physical Activity Knowledge Development Center (TPAK), a division of the Population and Social Research Institute at Mahidol University, convened a meeting led by Mr. Danusorn Potharin, Head of the Database and Forecasting Development Group, Mr. Surasak Penmai, Head of the Thought Productivity Communication Group, and Ms. Narumol Haemathulin. The meeting took place at the Ratchadamnoen meeting room, Royal Princess Larn Luang Hotel, Bangkok, and aimed to gather input from stakeholders in both the public and private sectors.

The primary objective of the meeting was to evaluate the current situation, identify problems, obstacles, and citizens’ needs concerning the Calories Credit Challenge: CCC application. Mr. Mongkol Wimonrat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, chaired the meeting. During the event, a forum was organized to facilitate discussions on enhancing collaboration between the public and private sectors to drive the CCC project forward. Dr. Udomthipok Praikaset and Mr. Jiraphan Sukamphiranon led discussions in group forums, with participation from leading private sector entities such as Samsung, The Mall, Major Mahajak, Wello Connect, Avarin, AIIZ, and DragCura.

Comments and suggestions gathered during the meeting will be analyzed and incorporated into policies and operational guidelines to enhance the efficiency of the CCC project. This will ensure that it meets the needs of users and continues to effectively promote physical activity.
