TPAK Discusses with Provincial Public Health Office, Ubon Ratchathani, Regarding Guidelines for Establishing Cooperation and Developing a Provincial Spatial Data System to Promote Physical Activity in Early Childhood.

On February 1, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Piyawat Katewongsa, Director of the Thailand Physical Activity Knowledge Development Center (TPAK), Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, along with his research team, met and discussed with Dr. Teeraphong Kaewphamon, Public Health Doctor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, Dr. Chaiwat Darasit, Deputy Public Health Doctor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, and Mr. Chaisit Ruangroj, Head of the Health Promotion Group at Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Public Health Office.

The discussion focused on guidelines for establishing cooperation and developing provincial spatial data systems to promote physical activity, fostering the development and intelligence of early childhood children. This includes implementing a mechanism to study the levels of physical activity in early childhood, serving as a model area for promoting early childhood health.
