Meeting to Learn Lessons from Conducting Research: “Comprehensive Development of the Quality of Life of the Thai Elderly by Local Government Organizations”

On November 2 and 3, 2023, the project “Comprehensive Development of the Quality of Life of the Thai Elderly by Local Government Organizations,” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sureeporn Punpuing, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sutthida Chuanwan, and the research team from the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, held a meeting to extract lessons from the research conducted in the Kanchanaburi Municipality area (November 2 at the Kanchanaburi Municipality Office) and the Ngio Rai Subdistrict area in Mahasawat Subdistrict (November 3 at the Population and Social Research Institute). The meeting included administrators from local government organizations at the subdistrict level, Municipality Department heads, Public Health and Environment Division officials, Social Welfare Division representatives, representatives from the Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office (PMO), representatives from public health service centers, Village Health Volunteers (VHVs), as well as representatives from the Elderly Club.
