On October 5, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan from the Population and Social Research Institute at Mahidol University presented on “The Situation of Elderly Workers in the Context of Urban and Rural Communities” at the opening event of the knowledge base for Thai Gerontology Research Institute (TGRI) and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation in 2023. This event was held under the concept of “Ensuring Economic Security for the Elderly Towards an Aging Society that is Happy and Sustainable,” and it was attended by Prof. Emeritus Dr. Pramote Prasatkul. The event took place at the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok.
