On October 5, 2023, a meeting was convened at the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University. The attendees included personnel from the institute, namely Associate Professor Dr. Sirinya Phulkerd, Associate Professor Dr. Manasigan Kanchanachitra, Associate Professor Dr. Jongjit Rittirong, Lecturer Dr. Sarunya Sujaritpong, DVM, Assistant Professor Dr. Pojjana Hunchangsith, Lecturer Dr. Nongnuch Jindarattanaporn, Dr. Weerapak Samsiripong, Ms. Natjera Thongcharoenchupong, and Miss Nutnicha Loyfah. They are all part of a research project focused on food management systems for health throughout the supply chain and measures to reduce Thai people’s access to unhealthy food.
The meeting was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Jody Harris, a Consultant Research Advisor at the World Vegetable Center, an Honorary Associate Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, and the Global Research Lead at Columbia University. The primary agenda was to exchange knowledge on food, nutrition, and health.
