On September 19, 2023, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sakkarin Niyomsilpa, a lecturer at the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, participated in a discussion on the topic “As Thai Workers Disappear, Can Migrant Workers Replace Them?” This discussion took place during the trilateral workshop for national preparedness for the 16th ASEAN Forum on Migrant Labor, known as the Thailand National Tripartite Preparatory Workshop on “Enhancing the effectiveness of legal pathways for labor migration in ASEAN,” held at the Amari Watergate Hotel in Bangkok.
