Vaccine Cyber

On August 25, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Associate Professor Dr. Aree Jampaklay, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research, along with the management team, senior advisors, faculty members, researchers, and personnel, welcomed a team of speakers to share their knowledge on the topic of “Vaccine Cyber.” The speakers were from the Technological Crime Investigation Bureau, including Police Major General Chatpantakarn Klaikeung, Commander of the Technological Crime Investigation Police Command 1, who gave a lecture on the subject of “Knowledge about Cybercrime,” and Police Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Purimpat Tanapansiri, Deputy Superintendent of Sub-District 4, who discussed “Guidelines for Preventing Cybercrime.” The purpose of these lectures was to equip participants with knowledge about cybercrime and to provide guidelines for preventing it. The training aimed to enable participants to apply the acquired knowledge to use the internet safely, mitigate basic internet threats, and effectively convey this knowledge to those around them to raise awareness about cybercrime. The event took place at Sa Bua Meeting Room (109), 1st floor, Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, with both in-person attendance and online participation.
