Training interviewers to understand surveys and data recording for the project aiming to synthesize model community mechanisms and develop innovations for promoting physical activity among the elderly in the community

On August 25-27, 2023, the Thailand Physical Activity Knowledge Development Center (TPAK), Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Office of the Science Promotion Commission for Research and Innovation, was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyawat Katewongsa (project leader) and team. They introduced the project, focusing on the Principles of Human Research Ethics (IRB) and Personal Data Protection (PDPA), along with fieldwork procedures for interviewers. Additionally, Mr. Narakorn Wongsing presented the use of Lime Survey questionnaires, and Mr. Danusorn Potharin conducted training on data quality inspection (DATA Quality) for Super Team Research Co., Ltd. The event took place in Room 323 of the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University.

The project aims to analyze the collected data comprehensively and leverage it to promote physical activity among the elderly in the community. Furthermore, it can serve as a foundation for designing a community management mechanism that promotes physical activity among the elderly.
