Cost-Effective Analysis of Measures to Promote Consumption of Fruits and Vegetables in Thai Population

On August 25, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Sub-activity 3, titled ‘Analysis of the cost-effectiveness of measures to promote the consumption of fruits and vegetables in the Thai population,’ took place as part of the research project ‘Research on food management systems for health throughout the supply chain and measures to reduce access to unhealthy food for Thai people.’

This project received funding from the Thai Health Promotion Foundation. The first meeting of the expert committee was convened to present the results of the review of measures aimed at promoting the consumption of fruits and vegetables. The meeting was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pojjana Hunchangsith, the activity leader, and researchers. The meeting took place at the Chao Phraya 4 Meeting Room on the 10th floor of the Riverine Place Hotel & Residences in Nonthaburi Province.

Furthermore, the committee of experts provided feedback and recommendations to align these measures with the Thai context and contribute to the further development of mathematical models.
