On August 18, 2023, the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Sudarat Musikawong, Deputy Director for International Affairs, Networking, and Academic Services, in collaboration with SEA JUNCTION, led by Associate Professor Dr. Rosalia Sciortino, Founder and Executive Director, and the Migrant Working Group, organized a discussion on the topic “Thai Workers Disappeared (14.4 Million People in 2060): Can Migrant Workers Replace Them?” Associate Professor Dr. Aree Jampaklay, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, gave the opening remarks at the 4th floor meeting room of SEA JUNCTION at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center.

The discussion was moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Charamporn Holamyong, Deputy Director of the Planning and Quality Assurance Department at the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University.
