On July 11, 2023, an important meeting was held to discuss the comprehensive development of the quality of life for the elderly in Thailand. The meeting was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sureeporn Punpuing, the project leader, and attended by various stakeholders. The main objectives of the meeting were to review past project performance, share knowledge and experiences, and discuss future research directions to further enhance the well-being of the elderly population. We were honored to have Prof. Emeritus Dr. Pramote Prasartkul, the project advisor, deliver a welcome remark, emphasizing the significance of the project and its impact on the elderly community. During the meeting, the research team had the opportunity to exchange experiences and learn valuable lessons from their operations with organizations such as the Sub-District Administrative Organization and Ngiu Rai Subdistrict Administrative Organization Hospital in the Mahasawat area. More than 10 participants, including the President of Ngiu Rai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, attended the meeting held at Sra Bua Room (109), 1st floor, Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University.
