On May 15, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aree Jampaklay, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, along with the faculty members of the project research team “Analysis of food supply chain management and interventions to promote healthy eating in the Thai population” consisting of 5 people, welcomed Ms. Madiha Ahmed, a senior program specialist from the International Development Research Center (IDRC). The purpose of the meeting was to exchange research knowledge on food systems, food environments, and food policies in Thailand, as well as to discuss opportunities for expanding research networks to drive food policy in the country and Southeast Asia in the future. The meeting took place at the Sra Bua Room (109), 1st floor, Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University. The members of the project research team are Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirinya Phulkerd (Head of the project), Prof. Dr. Jongjit Rittirong, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pojjana Hunchangsith, Dr. Sarunya Sujaritpong, and Dr. Nongnuch Jindarattanaporn.
