On April 19, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aree Jumpaklay, Director of Institute for Population Research, Mahidol University, together with Prof. Emeritus Dr. Aphichat Chamratrithirong, Advisor of the institute, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jongjit Rittirong, Deputy Director of Curriculum Quality Development, welcomed Mr. Suriyon Thanyakitjanukit, Policy and Planning Consultant from the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDB) and the Thailand Policy Lab. The meeting took place in Sra Bua Room (109), 1st floor, IPSR, and the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the issue of enhancing the country’s competitiveness by increasing the quality population.
