On April 3-4, 2023, Mr. Chettha Mosikarat, the Governor of Mae Hong Son Province, presided over the opening of a workshop on information integration and development of strategic information at the provincial level, aimed at driving work on reducing inequality in education through the area-based education management project in Mae Hong Son Province for 2022.
The event took place at Dong Rak Building, Mae Hong Son Community College. During the workshop, the Send Yim Team and the Office of Education organized a discussion led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyawat Ketwongsa to gather ideas and opinions from government agencies, private sector, civil society, and people in the area. The purpose of this meeting was to develop “mechanisms” for cooperation and exchange of information and knowledge to support the development of education that matches the context of the population and area, and to create a plan and guidelines for integrating provincial databases and reducing inequality in education.
