The Strong Family Standards Index, which was developed by the Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) and the Institute for Population and Social Research Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Rossarin Gray, Associate Professor Dr. Kanchana Tangchonlatip, and Associate Professor Dr. Umaporn Pattaravanich, has been officially announced as a tool for assessing and strengthening family relationships at the national and provincial levels of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security from 2023 onwards. The assessment methods and indicators were explained to staff at the Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office (PSD) across the country at the computer service office located at Kasetsart University, Bangkok.
