HRH Princess Somsavali graciously presented the awards to the winners during the annual event to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday on August 12, which is celebrated as National Mother’s Day. IPSR Director Assoc. Prof. Rossarin Gray, Chair of the 100-Year-Old Mothers, invited 100-Year-Old Mothers or “Century Mum”. Century Mum Awards – to honor mothers aged over 100 and the Outstanding Mum Award, to recognize and acknowledge outstanding contributions by mothers towards their children. Assistant Professor Bhubate Samutachak, Deputy Director for Research and International Relations also gave the speech on "The happiness of the Thai family in this 21st century". Congratulations to Mrs. Sompratthana Namkhan, IPSR supporting staff on being awarded the “Outstanding Mother-Staff Award” on the 2018 Mahidol-Mother’s Day on August 2018 at Mahidol University’s Office of the President Building at Salaya. The Award marked the mothers who dedicated herself as a mother while having very satisfactory work performance.
