On July 6, 2023, the Research Ethics Committee of the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University organized the 8th IRB TALK, discussing the topic of “When consent can be waived from research participants.” The event was held online via Zoom and Facebook Live programs. Dr. Tawanchai Jirapramukpitak and Associate Professor Dr. Kanchana Tangcholathip, both lecturers at the Institute for Population and Social Research, had the honor of being speakers, while Associate Professor Dr. Charamporn Holamyong served as the moderator.
