Associate Professor Dr. Aree Jampaklay, director of the Institute for Population and Social Research and Executive Secretary of the Asian Population Association (APA), together with Professor Aris Ananta, President of the APA and the delegation met with Mr. Björn Andersson, Regional Director, UNFPA Asia and the Pacific and Dr. Annette Sachs Robertson, Deputy Regional Director and Dr. Christophe Le France, Technical Adviser on Population and Development to request support from the UNFPA to organize the 5th APA Conference 2020. The event was held at UN building, Bangkok.
