Abstract
IPSR students and researcher; Mr. Phongsak Sakunthaksin, Ms. Nattaporn Nilwatta, Dr. Yadanar Aung, and Ms. Reena Tadee attended “SAKURA Exchange Program in Science: Collaborative Research and Education on Global Health” during 7th – 17th October, 2019. This program aims to achieve sustainable development with global health perspectives focusing on ageing society issues and accelerate international collaboration and to share a vision of Society 5.0 concept which drives a paradigm change of ageing society. The exchange program was held at Department of Health Care Policy, Graduate School of Medicine, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. A mini-symposium is a part of the program with the theme “Exploring Sustainable Ageing Society – Driven by Innovative Technologies and Society 5.0”. Followed the keynote speech on “Society 5.0 and Sustainable Ageing in Japan” by Dr. Yoshihide Obayashi were presentations from 4 universities. Last but not least, we would like to share not only our impression and experiences in Sapporo, Japan but also what we have learned from this program.
