The IPSR Annual National Conference
The IPSR National Conference on Population and Society is one of the essential activities that the Institute for Population and Social Research uses as a channel for disseminating research results on population and society to the public. The first conference was held in 2005, and since then, the meeting has been held in July, the middle of the population year. Each year issues are presented on a collection of social phenomena that are both the causes and effects of demographic and social changes.

The National Population Conference
Every year the Thai Population Association organizes the National Conference on Population Sciences. The conference’s purpose is to serve as a gathering place for individuals interested in demography and other social sciences and to share demographic knowledge, ideas, and experiences about Thailand’s population. The conference consists of lectures from Professor Dr. Visid Prachuabmoh Foundation and presentations on population research by academics, researchers, and selected students.

The Asian Population Association Conference
Every three years, the Asian Population Association (APA) organizes an international academic conference supported by a network of demographic members and international organizations worldwide. This international symposium is open to presenting scholarly works by allowing academics in population studies, including other social sciences-related parties, to exchange knowledge, experience, and demographic information about each country.
More informationThe International Graduate Students Conference on Population and Public Health Sciences (IGSCPP)
Annually, IGSCPP has been a cooperative effort of three agencies: the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, the Institute for Population and Social Research, and the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University. The conference is an annual event to provide graduate students and researchers with opportunities to develop their academic and research work for national and international conferences. Furthermore, the forum is upgrading the quality of research in population and public health to meet international standards and disseminate graduate research for the public benefit at national and international levels.

The mission of IUSSP is to promote the scientific study of populations, encourage exchange between researchers around the globe, and stimulate interest in population issues, in addition to organizing seminars and workshops for additional scientific knowledge, training events, and distance learning to develop research capacity. In addition, IUSSP holds an International Population Conference every four years to bring together world-class experts in the field.

The Population Association of America (PAA) is a non-profit scientific professional association that studies population and demography issues. The member of PAA include demographers, sociologists, economists, public health specialists, and others interested in research and population studies. Annually, PAA holds a meeting as a gathering point for the community of applied demography and other related sciences to provide opportunities for applied demographers to present their work and exchange opinions and suggestions from academics and experts.
