On 11 December 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Sutthida Chuanwan, Deputy Director for General Administration, Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, participated in the National Academic Conference on Universal Health Coverage 2025 titled “SAFE Financing: Fiscal Policy for Thailand’s Health System in an Era of Change,” organized by the International Health Policy Program (IHPP).
At the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Suthida presented research findings on “Population Projections of Thailand” during Panel Session 1.1, entitled “Trends in Health Expenditure over the Next Decade and New Financing Options for Health System Sustainability.” Her presentation contributed to evidence-based planning for Thailand’s long-term health policy. The event was held at Pullman King Power Rangnam Hotel, with broad participation from public health agencies, academics, and policymakers.
