On December 1–2, 2025, the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, conducted the second episode of the R2R training series titled “R2R Impact Accelerator – Advancing R2R to Results, Episode 2: Design for Action.” This episode emphasized practical application, guiding participants through identifying pain points, setting hypotheses and indicators, selecting appropriate study designs and data collection tools, conducting analysis, and presenting R2R findings.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of IPSR.
Training sessions were facilitated by a team of experts, including: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Charamporn Holumyong, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nucharapon Liangruenrom, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirinan Kittisuksathit, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bhubate Samutachak.
The workshop combined lectures and hands-on activities such as data analysis and research information search, bibliography management using EndNote, steps for IRB submission and ethics approval, and principles for presenting R2R work. A total of 34 participants attended the workshop at the Srabua Room (109), 1st Floor, IPSR.
Participants also received close guidance from the mentor team: Mr. Pasakorn Boonkhum, Ms. Suporn Jaratsit, Ms. Kanya Apipornchaisakul, Ms. Sompratthana Namkhan, Ms. Charuwan Charupum, Ms. Auemduen Kaewsawang, Ms. Nongyao Buncharoen, and Mr. Keattiniyom Khuntee.
