On June 13, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, along with the administrative board, senior advisors, faculty members, researchers, and staff, welcomed Clinical Professor Emeritus Dr. Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, President of the University Council, and members of the Mahidol University Council during their 4th University Council Visit to IPSR.
The purpose of this visit was to assess the achievements, goals, implementation plans, challenges, and solutions of each unit. This comprehensive evaluation aims to provide a clear overview of the current status at both the faculty and university levels, leading to the formulation of clearer future policies and objectives. It also supports internal and external integration efforts, which are vital steps in advancing Mahidol University toward becoming a sustainable academic institution.
The session took place at the Prachasangkom Udompathana Meeting Room (101), 1st Floor, IPSR, Mahidol University, and was also conducted online via Webex.
