On May 30, 2025, at the Bangkok Pride Forum, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kritaya Archavanitkul from the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, presented the estimated population figures of gender-diverse individuals. Ms. Kulapa Vajanasara, researcher, presented findings from a survey on the sexual lives of Thai LGBTQ+ individuals.
The research presentation, titled “Diversity Beneath the Numbers – The Sexual Lives of Thai LGBTQ+”, was honored by an opening speech delivered by Ms. Pharanee Puprasert, Assistant Manager of the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth).
