On May 29, 2025, the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, welcomed the assessment team for the departmental-level educational quality assessment according to EdPEx criteria for 2025, along with staff from the Quality Development Division. The assessment team was chaired by Prof. Dr. Chairat Chayakul from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and included Prof. Dr. Waraphan Toniti from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Lect. Dr. Weerawon Thangboonjit from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Ms. Wantagan Saosiri, and Ms. Kanchisa Hatkumsup from the Quality Development Division, Mahidol University. The assessment took place at the Srabua Room (109), 1st floor of the Institute.
This year, the assessment team conducted the evaluation in the MUEdPEx-A2 format (Development Plan Monitoring). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research, presented an overview of the Institute’s performance over the past year, including challenges and obstacles. The assessment team then provided additional recommendations for further improvement and excellence in operations.
The assessment concluded with closing remarks delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sompop Prathanturarug, Vice President for Strategy, Quality Development, and Social Mission, Mahidol University.
