On March 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, led by Strategy and Risk Management Unit, organized a brainstorming meeting to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of various units within the organization. The analysis aims to serve as essential input for the preparation of the draft strategic plan for 2026–2029 (4-year period).
The meeting was honored by Assistant Professor Dr. Athisan Wayupap, Vice President for System Development for Organizational Exchange, Mahidol University, who shared insights on the principles and importance of strategic planning. Associate Professor Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute, presented the management team’s direction and flagship initiatives. Associate Professor Dr. Sutthida Chuanwan, Deputy Director for General Administration, provided an overview of the meeting’s objectives and background.
Administrative Board, faculty members, researchers, and staff participated in the session, which also included group activities to conduct the SWOT analysis. The session was facilitated by Ms. Auemduen Kaewsawang and held at the Prachasangkom Udompathana Room (101), Institute for Population and Social Research.
