On March 2, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Director of the Institute for Population and Social Research, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sutthida Chuanwan, Deputy Director for General Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jongjit Rittirong, Deputy Director for Research, Ms. Ploychompoo Sukustit, Executive Secretary, and the team extended their congratulations to Prof. Dr. Ellawala Liyanage Sunethra Jayathilake Perera, Professor of Demography (Chair), University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Prof. Dr. Perera, an alumnus of the Institute’s Ph.D. in Demography (International Program), was honored with the Alumni Award of Mahidol University in 2025. The congratulatory event took place at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University.
