Fieldwork: “Analysis of School Lunch Program Procurement Practices to Link Community Food Systems”

Between December 14 – 26, 2023, Sub-Activity 1, titled “Analysis of School Lunch Program Procurement Practices to Link Community Food Systems”, was conducted as part of the research project on Healthy food chain management and effective interventions for reducing access to unhealthy foods in Thai population. The fieldwork was led by project researchers, including Lect. Dr. Sarunya Sujaritpong, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Teeranong Sakulsri, Ms. Narumon Charoenjai, and Ms. Suriyaporn Janjaroen. The team conducted in-depth interviews with stakeholders involved in the school lunch program and community farmers producing safe or organic food in two northern provinces, Chiang Mai and Nan.
